Eyebrows

We have a variety of different procedures for Eyebrows. Below is a brief description of the types of eyebrow procedures we can do. On our first consultation we will discuss the best suited design for your eyebrows.

Microblade Eyebrows

This technique is performed by manually depositing pigment superficially in the upper region of the dermis with the use of a hand tool with attached needles fused together in a linear grouping; it does not involve the use of a machine.

A much smaller amount of pigment is inserted (tattooed) into the skin as compared to fully or solidly filled eyebrow tattoos thus creating a very natural effect.  This is also the reason microblading needs more regular touch-ups that normal permanent makeup.

The results are ultra-natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a two week period. A touch up is required once 1-2 months after initial procedure. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment. Remember that Permanent Makeup is a 2 step process!

To keep discomfort to a minimum, anaesthetic creams are used before and during the procedure. The entire process takes only 2 hours and there is no down time.

The results can last anywhere from 12 to 18 months, depending on different factors  – like skin type, age, aftercare, sun exposure, use of certain skin products, pigments used, immune system, medications and other factors. A touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.

Ombre Shaded Eyebrow

This is the new “it” look gaining more and more fans worldwide.  If you have eyebrow hair and long for a soft “filled in” look 24/7, this is the brow technique for you!

Soft shading is done by machine – darker at the tail and arch of the brow, and gets gradually softer towards the bulb of the brow. The healed result is a soft powdery look.

To keep discomfort to a minimum, anaesthetic creams are used before and during the procedure. The entire process takes only 2 hours and there is no down time.

The results can last up to 24 months, depending on different factors – like skin type, age, aftercare, sun exposure, use of certain skin products, pigments used, immune system, medications and other factors. A touch up every 2 years is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.

Blade & Shade ™

This is a combo between microblading and soft shading in-between the microblade hairstrokes– a great technique for someone looking for a more “filled in “look but still desires the “fluffy” appearance of hair strokes.
